Graphite head gasket sealer, aluminum heads ?

One reason to switch from copper to graphite gaskets is to reduce electrolysis and preserve the aluminum heads. So installing them with a copper spray sealer seems counter productive. Is there something else we should be using or shall I just not worry about it ?

I use Hylomar...not that i think the copper spray is an issue...just like hylomar better.

Used Hylomar in the 60-70's putting vw cases togather,good stuff.

After years of fighting getting old gaskets off the block surface, I now make sure everything is clean and flat and use a coating of grease on each side of the gasket. No leaks on the last two builds. (Aluminum heads and Fel-Peo gaskets.)
