40 Exhaust Problem
I have a 40 2dr deluxe with a 5.0 HO My question is how far past the body should the exhaust pipes extend so I don't get fumes in the car?

Re: 40 Exhaust Problem
Behind the axle, to the edge of the body. As long as you are moving.
You need to look around the H.A.M.B. Enroll there you will find cars like yours. Modified cars up to 1965. The focus here is on the flathead V8
