The weirdest Model A I have ever seen!
On eBay at the moment advertised as a Model A:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1929-Nash-40...9bOFtL&vxp=mtr It irritates me that people who have a hot rodded Model A advertise it as a Model A even though it is nothing like a Model A. V8 engine, Automatic Transmission, Air Cond, substitute rear end and chassis, lowered etc etc. About all that is Model A are maybe a few panels. What do others think?

I think your link is bd. This is for a 29 Nash.

looks like a Nash from here. Maybe it was morphed from a hot rodded Model A |

Re: The weirdest Model A I have ever seen!
That Nash is the ugliest Model A that I've ever seen. However, from the inside you can see that it has a bike "in the trunk". Nice touch.
Seriously, I really like looking at other makes from the Model A era. There are some pretty nice looking ones, but when I saw my first Model A in the early 60's I knew that a Model A was the one for me...that is until I found that, even at 6'4", I can drive an early V-8 Ford comfortably. |

Re: The weirdest Model A I have ever seen!
Hot Rods in the Model A section of places like autotrader and craigslist definitely made it more difficult to search for a car. I wish there were a filter for hot rods. Speaking of Autotrader...what's with "Classic Car Deals" doing 3rd party sales of rustbuckets for way too much money?

Re: The weirdest Model A I have ever seen!
That's my point! It is listed as a Model A.

rat rod project cars 1929 Nash sedan simular to model A ford sedan
Often people will list with key words like Model T or Model A someplace in the title to get more viewers.

Re: The weirdest Model A I have ever seen!
We understand why they do it but it still annoys me. Maybe honesty in advertising laws are more lax over there?

Re: The weirdest Model A I have ever seen!
Maybe the ad read different here then there, but the only thing I see are the words "simular to modal A ford sedan". Other then that is is being sold as a Nash.
