Hi..... I am helping in the resto of a 1956 Victoria and need to know what color the auto tranny bell housing and tranny should be painted....thanks in advance, j

Probably the same as a TBird - they were built on the same assembly line.

Not painted.

Only the standard transmissions were painted, engine color.
