Brakes again
Hi, let’s say I have a drum that can not be turned. I’m told I can send it to, say, one of our top suppliers and they will take it apart and put on the new drum.
Also would they perform more of the necessary parts installation as well. I don’t think this is something I want to do myself. Thanks for any advise. |

Re: Brakes again
Randy Gross, Mels Model A in California will sell you new drums, rebuild your backing plates, re line your shoes. He will do as much or as little as you want. Many many positive reviews on this site.

Re: Brakes again
+1 his parts are on my car. However make sure the rest of your system is up to snuff. I've found worn out clevis', arms and slightly bent rods on my car that also need to be fixed.
