Default 1936 tools

On cars with a trunk were the larger tools somehow secured in the trunk so they wouldn't roll around or slide as you drove? I know the smaller tools are in a pouch but the pouch could also slide around.

35 and 36 Ford Coupes had an accessory tool box as shown.

Hope this helps.

According to the 1935-36 Ford Book by Don Rogers, Ford discontinued the tool boxes in the coupes and cabriolets sometime in 1935 and the tools went under the front seat. I don't think I can't fit them under the front seat in my 36 Club Cabriolet. I'm curious where they would go. If they go in the trunk what keeps them from sliding around when driving.

You could have a local upholstery shop make you a pouch with sewn-in pockets for each tool that you then roll up and tie with sewn-in lacing so that at least they weren't banging around under the seat or elsewhere while driving. LeBaron Bonney used to make them on request. While not original, they're very functional.
