Default 1936 front bumper arms

On a 1936 car, what is the typical distance the outer front bumper arms are from the fenders. On mine one side measures 5/8" and the other side measures 1"

For my 36 ford 5W Coupe I measure about 1-1/4" on each side. I am not sure this is factory, since these brackets came from other cars and I made sure that both sides were equal by bending the arms. Anyone with an original car can verify their measurements.
