New top installation question
Getting ready to install a new top on a 30 Sport Coupe. What tricks/methods does anyone have to remove wrinkles and creases in the top fabric from being folded in the shipping process??

Re: New top installation question
I installed one from Classtique. It came with instructions although they left much to be desired. Take your time…take lots of time. It came out ok.

Re: New top installation question
Lay out all the fabric flat for several weeks before you begin and the wrinkles should relax out. If there are hard creases you may have to resort to a steamer or iron. Always do a test in an inconspicuous area first.

I don't know about this type of material but when installing vinyl headliners a lot of folks sneak them into the wife's dryer for a few minutes...

Re: New top installation question
Not to scare you but a sport coupe top is a difficult top to install well. It must be pulled right and strategically in many areas. Cam at lebaron bonney use to say it was the most difficult too they sold to install well. I believe that is true.
