What is the correct head gasket to use when installing the Police "B" Head on a Model "A".. Also where to get one ??. Been told using regular head gasket is fine ??..

Re: Police Head
Snyders says to use the 32-34 head gasket on their 5.5 head which is very similar in design to the Model A police head.
You could probably use a stock head gasket but it won't follow the combustion chamber shape as well. I wouldn't use the silicone one snyders recommends, however. Best makes a 32-34 gasket in copper or "graphtite", I think that would be your best bet. A NOS Police head gasket would be the absolute best if you can find one. |

Re: Police Head
I use a regular 1932-34 4 cylinder gasket with my police head. It follows the combustion chamber better. It has been on there so long that I don't remember where I bought it. I would be afraid a stock Model A head gasket would leave a space that would collect carbon and lead to preignition.
