Default 34 tudor front bucket seat adjustment

Yesterday I decided to try and free up my sticky front seat adjustment mechanism. After almost loosing the needles in the rollers i managed to get one side apart. It looks like the rail surface has a slight bend in it causing the bind. I think the inboard rail that has the release handle may be bent as well. Has any one had bent rails? I think I can straighten them but I am worried they will bend again in the same area. Ken

Here some picks of the seat adjusting mech. the needle rollers in second pic are shot, found some at McMaster Carr thet should work, will update this thread if it works.

Well, not much interest in this thread but if you decide to free up your drivers seat to move free in its adjustment, there are four needle bearing rollers, two in each track. McMaster CARR has the correct size for replacement PN 60595k11. Your gonna want these, trust me! There were other issues with the mechanism as well. If you want more info, pm me and I will try to explain it all. Bottom line, my seat glides. Ken
