Something to Brighten Your Day
I picked up some parts from the chrome shop this week. I have used the shop for several items and they always do a good job. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but very good results.
I am showing sort of before and after pictures. The before are extras that I have that are in the same shape as the ones I had chromed. I think the transition is remarkable.

Did ya pay with a credit card and have them throw it in the bed of the truck and wait 3-5 days to open it? 0 tolerance.

Why not include their name in the post?

The shop is Mark Plating in West Palm. I have had several items done and they have all been good. The most recent parts are for my 36 Deluxe. I used to live in Mexico and had a lot of chrome done at a local shop. Of course no restrictions and cheap prices. Those where the days!

Wow, that is some seriously chromatropic pornograpicarapically Ford-ish goodness.
I've got a '35 trunkback that those bits would be totally out of place on, cuz they're so perfect! Just between us, is that stuff in the photo less than or more than $699 to gourgeousify from your talented plate shop?

Re: Something to Brighten Your Day
Is it remotely possible that SOME of you folks just don't realize how profoundly-simple it is to enlarge 99% of these thumbnail-sized pictures? The mere placement of the cursor ON the image and one LEFT-click gets 'em BIGLY, pronto....ONE SIMPLE CLICK! This continuous, un-requested enlargement of already-posted pictures is surely a very costly waste of Ryan's expensive bandwidth. DD |

Re: Something to Brighten Your Day
DD you're a testy one at times aren't you?
Please, not everyone uses a PC device. Do you ever use a device other than a PC for FordBarn interactions? The pics that users post as enlarged or HTML image tagged are much easier to manage when I'm using my smartphone. It's not just one simple click like you're explaining. On my phone it's hard to make pics bigger when just clicking the attached image. The ones in the forum comments with embedded links are more easy for me to see when checking in with my mobile. Costly bandwidth is a nice addition to your position. Not sure Ryan is struggling to keep the lights on. Maybe he is having a hard time finding a '40-41 truck, but I don't think bandwidth usage from pics here is cramping his style.
