Default Brake Drum Machining

Did any tool maker build a brake drum lathe for the rear integral hub/drum of early (40) Fords. All the lathe arbors seem to be too big for the 3/4 inch hole in the hub. Could not find one in KRW books.

I got one for my Van Norman 204, so do a lot of the older shops... Amco also has one available... Might be a bit of a hunt, not too bad tho...

The barrett (sometimes branded different) has an adapter that fits in with the wheel bearing and seal in place centering the hub the same as it is on the car, by the wheel bearing not the axle, the machine also doesn't cut a spiral like most machines, it makes a little more than a revolution then moves a little ---even a coarse cut can't cause the shoes to be pushed sideways by rotation

You need a drum lathe with 11/16" arbor, same as for the VW bug.
