Default Distributor Fixture

Ebay has a F 2993 for sale, the book I looked at calls up a V126 for a 40 v8
Will the F2993 work on 3 bolt distributors. Picture on Ebay looks like its for 2 Bolt. Anyone have some wisdom on this?

The 2 bolt adapter is bolted to the top of the 3 bolt. Look close at the pic and you will see it. It will handle both the early and late model distributors. Ed

Thanks Ed.
Do these come available often and is this the going price when they do?

Not often, and there is no such thing as "the going price" when it's on Epay. Anyone can get lucky or get stupid on that site. I quit when I discovered I was more often stupid than lucky.
