Default My next project

This is a late October 1930 AA 1 1/2 ton Ford truck with a 137" wheel base flatbed. The radiator shell and radiator, wheels (with new tires),and flatbed iron have been restored by me.Also, the original AA engine has been restored. The green truck in back of this one is a November 1928 1 1/2 ton 137" wheel base with a late 1920's 7 1/2 horse fairbanks flywheel engine mounted on the flatbed. Thanks for looking, Ray in Duckroost.

I have another building in back of this one that I need to finish and have air conditioned.I live south of Baton Rouge, LA and need to keep my coupe(avatar) that I restored and these two trucks out of the humidity and heat.Plus, I need the room to complete the restoration of this truck.Ray.

I didn't think anyone would notice the FFA magnets.I retired as an Agriscience teacher with 37 years experience and still substitute at St. Amant High for the Agriscience teacher which was one of my students.I taught in Ocala , Florida for 4 years . One of my former students from Ocala is CEO and owner of C-Land industries which supply metal products for Home Depot and Lowes.I bought these magnets at a National FFA Convention in 1998.I really enjoyed teaching. Thanks, Ray.

Good deal. Seeing those brought back some good memories!
The best teacher I ever had was my high school ag teacher, Mr. Bruce Moreland.
And it wasn't called Agriscience back then, it was just plain ol' Vocational Agriculture. LOL

When I started teaching in 1971 it was still called Vocational Agriculture.St. Amant high is my old alma mater.Athough when I moved back to St. Amant in 1977 from Florida a new school had been built near my home.It was nice driving one third mile to work every morning.Ray.
