Default Whats this tool?

I am guessing it is from 'T' era, it may be more recent. I'd say it is a bronze casting and a notch with a groove at the end. It is a J.M. Waterston tool and the early style 'Ford' script on the other side.

What is it for?
Thanks, Oj

If you do a search on JM Waterston tools, it comes up that they were tools for plasterers, bricklayers, plumbers etc.

Yes, I saw that. I was unable to open the catalog, knowing Ford it wouldn't be in there anyway because of proprietary rights. Maybe it has something to do with installing interior trim pieces? and why did it have to be cast from bronze?

If it's bronze that may signify that it was meant for use around the magnets of the magneto so that it wouldn't get stuck to them.
