Keep it Clean Wireing, bad juju
I'm working on a car that somebody started installing a 'Keep it Clean' wireing system. The directions omit how they expect you to wire the brake lt switch and how it all works thru the flashers and turn signals etc.
I've been trying to contact them for a week, emails and messages. They are part of the Hoffman Group. |

Parts from the Hoffman group is the problem. Never buy anything there. Other forums tell terible stories about them. On a Ford car, with a Ford steering column, the brake lights go through the turn signals. Hooking up brake lights to the steering sounds so wrong, but try it. It may work out OK. Good luck!

Re: Keep it Clean Wireing, bad juju
I may have been too hasty, the tech guy called me back and apologized for taking so long. He sounded like a good guy and sincere. By then I had referenced other drawings that showed the circuitry and have been able to get it sorted out.
I didn't ask which message he was responding to, I might get another call from them tomorrow for all I know. But, it was encouraging that they did call. |
