Default Jim at Bubbas Ignition is great!

Many of you may know about Jim at Bubbas in Speedway Indiana, but for those who don't do yourself a favor and send your distributor to them for a tune and recurve. He has done my Flathead and now my 70 Firebird. Fantastic results, look brand new and are now correctly setup. We are lucky to have a resource like them to help us out. Once winter is here send it in and you will be very pleased on how your motor runs with a good setup. Thanks to JIM!!!

I have used several of his converted Chevy distributors in my flatheads and several of his rebuilt early Chevy units in my early Chevy V8 powered cars with complete satisfaction. He's the best.

I agree, his service is great but the shipping he charges to Canada is WAY to high. It cost me $25 for shipping and the cost of the postage was $10.89 Also the "new condensor" was the old one I sent with the dist. Bill

If you do decide to contact them, talk to Bubba instead of Jim.

As a very proud business owner i really dont wish to ever hear any negative comments at all.
However we do from time to time get them. ( and it usually my fault)
No excuses given , but the "girls" handle the shipping and i will check your invoice and review with them tomorrow etc. As far as the condensor deal beats me, but i will review the charges as well.
Might even just go in tomorrow and beat them all with a old flathead fan belt !
On a serious note , I will review and respond tomorrow.

I guess now i got to ask , how does it run ???? Thanks for the business.

Bubba

As far as shipping goes, UPS has really gone up, got to pay for all that gas. I am sure if you had any questions they would take care of them. I just got my distributor back from Jim today for my 70 Trans Am. I have been driving it for six years now and always thought it might be off. Well, it was. The weights were wrong, springs too, Jim replaced them and set to factory specs. All I can say is WOW! Set the initial timming and off I went, roasting the tires I have one more distributor to send from my 60 TBird, sure that one is out of wack too, but I know Bubbas will set it right for me.
