Default Hydramek Ford Valve Tools

I saw an unusual Tool Kit today called: Hydramek Ford Valve Tools. The kit was made by TCM Manufacturing Co. in Maywood, Illinois. I have never seen any Ford Flathead valve tools like these before. There was diagrams and a parts list in the cover of the wooden box, but no instructions or information on what engine(s) the kit was actually for. No pictures at this time, but I did an Internet search and found pictures of this kit.

One internet inquiry about this kit got an answer that stated that they were for Flathead Fords, Mercurys and Lincolns. Is anyone familiar with this kit?

I have one too, but the instruction diagram in the lid of the wooden box is crumbling , is there someone with one I can get a Xerox copy from? it is very useful , especially the valve spring assembly tool.

I have a couple of them. They work really well on those stubborn guides. I have used it several times.

Fordestes, there's one on ebay now, the diagram is very clearly shown. You might be able to save the image. There are numerous pictures on the web if you google hydramek ford valve tool.

Mart.

thanks Mart,
I haven't checked in a while, I was restoring my wooden box and thought it would somehow just make it complete with the chart in the lid, I am also restoring my Black & Decker seat grinder cabinet, I was fortunate enough to get the latches and corner protectors at an old hardware store before they closed up. I think it is kool to keep the old equipment and cabinets in their authentic condition.

A little off subject,
I am also planning on restoring a 1948 Montgomery wards utility trailer which was given to me by my late father, he said it was sold through m/w , he said he thought it would look good being pulled behind one of my old fords, the trailer is made of heavy metal and wood floors, the fenders tend to ring when tapped with a small metal object.
I need to find someone to make a stencil of the M/W logo on the tailgate.
Thanks again,
Fordestes
