WOW there rarest of the rare v8/60,s both for sale at the same time . An Ardun 60 on here & a "Smiths Jiggler" for sale on the auction site .
Both are as rear as rocking horse poop!

Both are just poop. Owned two of the stock version. One of Ford's worst ideas. Designed for Europe where gas was always more expensive.

Have to agree with GSCOV. The 60's aren't good for anything but midgets and (lack of) power boats, maybe a cement pump.

Pretty interesting stuff tough. I hadn't heard of the "Jiggler" until a year or so ago. Thanks for the "Heads Up"

KIWI,
Will we see you in Gettysburg ?....hope so....we still have the same old RV
as in Charlotte.
Regarding the V8-60....omho....it was a great idea, perhaps not at the time,
but what a cool little motor. We put a '37 tin side in a '34 German 'Y' car roadster.
Used the V8 60 3 speed trans and shortened and narrowed the '37 rear end and
torque tube. This car is still on the road and kicks ass.

Where have you got your head? Neither one is stock. These two are unbelievably cool.

What was the foreign car that used the 60 clear up into the late 50's. I saw one in Wichita in 64 or so.

[checking my pockets]

Didn't I have 60 grand in there this morning?

Senior moment #73 today! And I'm still waiting to turn 55.

VERY COOL.
