Default 1939 Willys Ute mechanical brake adjustment

I know this isn't the right forum but the ford guys are more knowledgeable than most and I trust you. I have a willys Ute coming my way and it has stock brakes, however all four wheels are locked up. I'm guessing Bendix?

Years ago I bought a 1950 Studebaker that had 3 stuck wheels from the brakes. It skidded through the gravel, but once I hit the blacktop I went back and forth with my car and towbar, and the wheels broke free. The Studebaker has Bendix brakes and eccentrics with a hex head to set the adjustment in and out. An old Motor's Manual might show your brakes.

Tom is on the right 'trail', but adjustment IS more complicated than that.
Go over to the early V8 side and ask same question, as they are the experts in this brake system !
Better still , do a search of past files and you WILL get a lot of details and reading pleasure

random willys bendix search proves current suppliers, if they are causing trouble something may need replacing.
