Default 36 Proper Fan Belt?

I have a 1936 Ford Tudor with an alternator. The fan belt is in pretty bad shape and I can't seem to get any of the local parts stores to match it up right. I have tried a 59" and a 57" one is too big and the other is too small but I think the belts are too wide. Before I go back and grap the 58 I wanted to see what the proper part would be?

Thanks!

There is NO proper part for your situation as you have changed it from stock. Whatever fits is proper. lol ken ct.

Get an industrial belt in B width in length you need & it should work OK.

I just went thru that also. My napa store had mine in stock. I used a 11/16 belt, laid nice in the old pulleys. Good luck.
