Angry Granada engine noise

I have been on here before explaining that my 79 granada 6 cyl engine has what sounds like l;ifter chatter when i start it..Engine was redone with all new lifters and is perfect except for this noise...It lasts for 4 or 5 minutes and goes away...I took tappet pan cover of and find that two lifters have drained down with no pressure on them so i ask is this maybe normal or bad lifters..Any help on this matter really appreciated as i have added zinc changed to a ford filter to no avail .I know it is not crank bearings..so???

Do you have good oil pressure?
There were companies like Rhoads that made lifters that bleed down quickly for some high performance applications. I don't know if that's what was installed but they are noisy.

Pick up a jug Walmart's 0W-20 full synthetic. It'll flow well & pump up lifters quickly in a cold start.
