I have recently have had excellent service from two vendors, Kent Jaquith of Clean Sweep Windshield Wiper Motor Service and Dennis Carpenter Reproductions.

Kent was good enough to build and ship me a wiper motor in about a week. My original wiper motor failed just as I was taking the car to the upholstery shop. The new head liner was going to cover up the wiper motor and Kent was able to get me what looks and runs like a brand new one in time to install before the head liner went in. He didn't need my original motor as a core, and was very reasonable on the price.

Several months ago I purchased a bunch of parts from Dennis Carpenter Reproductions including a set of reproduction sun visors. Only recently did I take them out of the package and found one of them to be broken. Again, I was about ready to send the car (and sun visors) to the upholstery shop and time was of the essence. A call to Dennis Carpenter, resulted in an immediate shipment of a new pair of sun visors and no time consuming requirement to send the defective parts back for evaluation. They just took my word for it and had the parts at my door in less than a week.

Just thought I wold share my experiences in case others may need their services. Bruce

Bad news travels way too fast - nice to hear good stuff about some of the vendors out there. I usually visit Carpenter's when I do G-Guys Charlotte and have had positive experiences save for 40 Ford windshield and rear window rubber - other than that, they're great!

I placed an order with MAC's, it took four days for them to ship, and only three to get from New York to Alaska!
I just placed another order, put a rush on it, and I hope to see it on Sat.
