Default After 4 years its back on the road agian!

4 years ago my A locked-up its engine. There was some haste in my desire to get it running again, 3 of my 4 kids learned how to drive in this car and now my baby is learning to drive. It's her turn to drive the "A". Thanks to Chip who lives very close to me and posted a smoking hot deal on a used engine. For $200 this engine was a no brainer, all it needed was a valve job. I can't believe how good it's running. Now I can take my time rebuilding the engine supposed to go in it. Registered, insured, and ON THE ROAD AGAIN! Check out the album

I love it i hope u never restore it and keep it as is i love to ole work truck look cobbled up and weleded and used and beat it has shit tones of character. Mine has that same kinda beat look to it im always trying to do do that to it to bring make it a bit better but i can only do so much and get it so nice becouse mine is my work truck and daily driver so its a constaint fight to get it to stay good such as last summer i was at my mill and had just finished the body work on the rear fender and a fork truck ( lost a lift of oak) crushing my fender i just fixed lol. But with yours i think its just superb. Iv tought 3 people how to drive on mine. yesterday i just tought a lady friend how to drive on it its always a fun / scary expaxperance. (she backed up into a retaining wall and took of my drivers side tail light and plate no big deal kind of thought it was funny) i mean really who has the opertunity to learn how to drive in model A or in my case a 28 ford model A in this days age thats something special.

Thanks everyone. I have no invention of restoring it. If I where to restore one there are much better candidates, this one would require so much sheet metal work due to the PU conversion. I may pull the body off in a few years and straighten the frame and repair some of the mechanical but plan on keeping it just as it is.

Don't restore it, as you may mess up one of the few remaning Model A Ranchero's in existance.
