1931 California Plates

Repainted 1931 California Plates. I was going to use these on my late 31 A but the DMV shows it as a 32. Rather than buck the system and prove it's a 31 I opted to purchase 32 plates and sell these. These plates where sandblasted clean and powder coated black, then the numbers where hand painted. Up close they appear to have an orange peel finish (on the black) but this is actually the unfilled rust pits covered by the power coating. If you get much more than a foot away it's almost impossible to see. I tried to show as best as possible in the picks. DMV Clear as of 5/23/2012.
