Default Fuel pump

Good afternoon everyone.

I know it's a bit off "Model A " topic but I believe a few of you own some British cars... MG, Jaguar, Austin Healey etc. Most of these British cars use SU electric fuel pumps. I have just made a video for Youtube on how to rebuild these pumps, and save a great deal of money. Perhaps you might find it helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU5uLjuOQdM

All the best,

Tony

Good morning,

I looked on the internet, typed in SU fuel pump rebuild kit. Up came the web site address of Burlen Fuel Systems the UK (the owners/manufacturers of SU and Amal carbs).

I checked which type of pump I had and ordered the rebuild kit via their web site.

Over the years I have rebuilt many carbs and fuel pumps and I have found that rather than go to third party suppliers it's always best (and cheaper in the long run) to go to the manufacturer.

All the best

Tony
