Flop, not sure you bought enough metal to call it a car..... more like you bought parts.

(and I don't count since mine is a "B" but I'm 50)

I'm 50.
Bought my 31 coupe in 1988.
All it needed was everything...so apart she came.
Chassis done... but I'm still in the welding/patching stage on the body.
I made some progress over the holidays, but my day job takes priority over the Model A, so it'll by a while yet before I can drive it.

Reading the various entries it's really encouraging to see that younger folks out there are caring for Model A's. There was quite alot of talk a few years back of the "younger generation" will never appreciate an original Model A, and instead would only want the cookie cutter small block, chopped, yadayadayada.
I think a bunch of you have proved them wrong

I'm 35...

My dads a carpenter.absolutely no automotive role model.Awesome dad though.
We did my buddies late 31 coupe that his mom and dad dated in(57) his first car .
Loved it,BUT he let me drive his T touring..and I was hooked.I have had very fast cars but something to be said about taking your time and enjoying the ride.
There is just nothing like these old cars.

I am 65 and played in a model A roadster thet was on jack stands and used to cut wood [belt off left rear wheel turning a circular saw blade] since I was 4 years old...shifted the throttle lever 1.4 millon times making engine noises......cried when grandpa traded it for a chain saw [an early McCullough weighting as the A].....

While pushing past seventy in years, I truly feel eighteen when I drive or touch my Model A.

In 1956, my dad in a suprise move after dinner piled the family into his Nash and drove to a huge estate that was being demolished. We walked into a darken carriage house and amongst the gloom and shadows stood a mint 1928 Leatherback Sdn. "You need something to do after school Mike", I heard my Dad say as I stood with gaping mouth. As it happened that sweet car came home right then and there. Fifty years later I rejoined the Model A Highway and found this stellar bortherhood of Model A enthusiasts. For me nothing quite meets the fun my wife and I have on the Highway. And, a huge thanks to the Ford Barn for its tremendous help and my wife for her understanding and participation.

I'll be 68 in a month, have 4 A/AA's. Bought my first in 1959 for $20 and still have it =a 28/9 ccpu. Built a 29 tudor a few years back and now building a 30 AA truck. Have a doodlebug made from leftover parts also. All are running,
some better than others. I really enjoy reading the forums about what other people are up to with their model A's. It's all good stuff!!

I'm 63 and bought my first model A in 68, but cut my teeth on a model T that was my first car at age 11. Still have it. Been a Ford man all my life.

37 years old,, been around Model A's since I was born,, my dad always had a couple and was restoring a roadster. When he passed away in '98 I inherited his cars and in the last few years have gotten obsessed with Model A's...

I'm 59, long-time interest in old planes and old cars, old cars are cheaper. My in-laws have been into Model A's and Model T's since their dad bought the family Model T in the 60's, I had to get "qualified" in the T before I could marry into the family. Bought our own Model A 22 years ago and added a few more since then.
