Follow up on Bill Williamson
Hello all,
I had a very nice chat with Bill tonite. He is doing great! His physical therapy is going well and they are pushing him hard to build up his strength. He won't be able to have full weight bearing on his fractured leg for 3 months, but he is ok with that. He realizes how lucky he is to be hit by a car and still be with us! He told me the food is great and he is enjoying the 3 square meals a day and not having ti cook it himself! I told him about the thread started earlier about his accident and how there were at least 4 pages of well wishes. He was humbled to hear that so many of us care about he and Buster T. You could hear the smile in his voice! As for Buster he is being cared for by friends and neighbors and is doing well. I will call him again in a few days and report back. Jim |

Times two. We are all concerned about Bill but I can't help but worry about the little fella, Buster T. You can bet he's fretting over Bill. For goodness sakes I hope they will allow him to visit Bill. It will really be good for both of them!!! Purdy, thinking about both of them.

Re: Follow up on Bill Williamson
Talked to dad last night all is still pretty much status quo as Jim mentioned in post #1. He was feeling a little crappy from the meds but seems to have turned that corner. He is very perky and likes the food, but I'll have to see if they have jet fuel coffee available...
I passed on the well wishes from everyone incld all the pm's i received. |

I imagine that Buster T is being kept at a home without computer - otherwise we would have heard from Bill already.

He is actually a very good cook and enjoys it.. I doubt they are cooking him up squirrel so he'll have to persevere through that. Maybe crosscut can ship him in ready to eat ones

Re: Follow up on Bill Williamson
Nov 21st is a tentative date to have the break rechecked for fusion and a decision for his return home. Buster is staying with a neighbors dog so he is having a good time and as bill said " he and buster are both tough as nails and can adapt easily to conditions".

OMG jet fuel coffee. I'll never forget the taste. The boilers had to have pure water, we could tolerate a lot of parts per million. LOL

Good to hear that Bill is on the mend. He seems to be a hearty person so I'm sure he'll have a lot to say when he gets back on this site. He is in my thoughts and prayers, because I know that they help. I really enjoy his threads even though I don't participate much. I learn a lot by just reading. Don/WI

FWIW:
Sometimes in life we may want to complain about what we think are big things. Usually a little later on, in thinking back, we finally realize that they were really such small things to worry about. For those of us who really know & appreciate Mr. Bill Williamson, he is truly a tremendous inspirational strong gentleman who has always refused defeat in life & even today, he knows he is still inspiring all of us to never give up. |

Welcome back Bill, you have indeed been truly missed as has Buster T ! The outpouring of support has been amazing and very heartwarming. You are indeed the mayor of Fordbarn.

Good to hear your back home Bill. If I was you I'd check the odometer on Vermin I heard Buster has been out tooling around while you were away.

Re: Follow up on Bill Williamson
Glad to hear you're home Bill. I bet Buster T is glad yer home too. I know how it is living in with the hospital bed, I had one in the living room when I broke my leg in that darn skiing accident back in the 70s. Things will get better now with you back on the computer and Buster T by your side. Good luck, Barry
