Re: This is a site for stock restoration.
I consider myself a novice. I just looked it up I joined this site in March of 11 and I've on made 45 posts, but I read threads on here every day. I was attacked on one of my first posts too,(not by the owner), I just let it roll off no big deal. I got my car from my dad,it was his and we were slooowwwly restoring it. When i asked him if I could take it to my house I thought I could get more done there, the only thing he said was "Don't HotRod It". I wouldn't have called him a "purist " but he liked them original.
I just wanted to post on this thread to see it go to 100. |

Re: This is a site for stock restoration.
All you 100% purist are gonna chase off the younger generation that is just getting into these cars.....reading all this bickering is a real turn off for new members.
I started out with a flathead 8 powered coupe hot rod....and I have developed enough interest in the history of the model A to want a stocker...Don't chase us off...we are the future of the hobby.

Re: This is a site for stock restoration.
Many of you seem to think that this is the only Model A forum. I spend most of my time on ahooga.com. Different format but better info IMHO. Ron W
