Default Australian color schemes

This post might best be directed to our friends in Australia. I have found a website that shows 1929 color schemes commissioned by Ford Motor Co from Australian artists to liven up the Ford line of cars for the Australian market. Ford had finally decided engineers were not qualified to select colors for their products so Industrial Design was born. I really like the color selection for the 1929 Leatherback. Could anyone - maybe someone in Australia - track down the formulas for: Argonaut Brown, Fallow Field Brown and Virginia Cream? Google didn't turn up anything for me. The website is: http://www.lov2xlr8.no/broch1.html

These are the first colors I have really liked and the fact that Ford Commissioned them is all the justification I need to use them as authentic colors. Thanks for your help Bill G

Very interesting and so different from the USA colors.
I wonder if the Australians have a record of these .
The English Model A Club is searching for a color chart for their cars
No one nows what their colors were
You have a wonderful collection of brochures , Thanks for posting

Here in New Zealand, particulalry the 1930 Models were painted with contrasting bands on the mouldings as per photos. Unfortunately I have yet to see a factory colour chart.
Ford of Canada also advertised differing colours and schemes. In July 1929 they stated " To stimulate sales of our different models, we have decided to change our colors more often, and the present basis calls for three standard colors with the exception of the Cabriolet and Town Sedan, one of which colors will be changed appoximately every three to four weeks. This means that each colour will be in use approximately nine to twelve weeks." In August 1929 they offered an interesting range for their Sport Roadster, Mount Vernon Green, Nankeen Brown, and Henna Red, with mouldings and deck in Black and double striping in Cameo Cream.

Early A's also came with some chrome work on the motors. I have a guy looking for this same or similar Ford ad from a magazine for me.
Our cars previous owners son completed a Phd on Australian art and design / modernism. He did get access to the original colour test sheets. And did include some text regarding my car due to its bright original colour.
