Default model A seat swaps

I have a coupe seat for sale on the swap meet and a fellow ford barner asked if it will fit a 30 pickup. Anyone know? I have no idea.

I don't think so. I think the pickups had a very thin back rest

I was hoping somebody would answer this question too. I am wondering just the opposite, whether the pickup seat could be put into my coupe to give me more room.

Lurker: You could try "tying" Ccompressing) your seat springs. Or remove the pkg tray and move seat back.

The coupe seat and the pickup seat are totally different. The pickup seat has no frame while the coupe seat fits in a framework. I doubt short of a real rube goldberg job, that they would be even close to fitting.
