Default original 1934 top insert info please

Is the metal trim strip around the top insert of an original coupe one piece? If there are any seams where are they? As in front, rear, sides...I never saw a true original. I've seen many of versions on restored cars though. Pictures would be great.

Thanks

here's what it looks like. if you dont have any of it you need to be very patient. i see them come up for sale about once a year, street rodders are still wrecking these cars, prices i have seen are 1500-2k. some folks cut up sedan parts, still not easy to find. plan B is aftermarket stuff that looks like crap. vinyl boat parts. happy hunting, lets see the car

If you can't find one, there used to be a guy in Hemmings that would bend the aluminum aftermarket ones. I had him do them for my '34 Tudor and they came out fine. I had them black anodized before installation.

I also had the aftermarket aluminum top trim bent and it worked out fine. I painted them and they look very good. Very difficult to bend yourself since they will collapse. I made two tools so I could adjust the bends slightly and that was a good idea.

Each handle is 10" long the tabs welded on the end are 0.190 W x 0.190" Tall. One tool holds and the second bends slightly. These will not work to make a 90 degree bend!
