Default '40 coupe - hanging the door hinges...

Hanging the hinges..........Are there pads under the door hinges? I don't think so. What suggestions/instructions do I need to know?

No pads. The hinges bolts directly to the A pillar.

Way back we would sometimes shim the lower hinges to give the doors better closure.
