Nice period ride! When I was in my first year in college I found a similar Tudor down at Antique Automotive in San Diego, with a 289 Ford V-8. I could not convince my dad that I needed that Tudor to drive to school. I ended up with a Datsun truck...alas.
20 years later I got the little blue roadster. Take that Dad!

I have one from a 3.8 Buick that will be mated to mine eventually. Going to try and keep it down low next to the cam.

Tell Ken he's a bad boy and that we want the car returned to original. The old car hobby isn't a democracy.

Katy, the pre 49 heads fit the later 8BA block, also notice the location of the distributor. Rick

Not knowing the history on this car I don't know how you can honestly say that.

A friend has a similar car that he "built". It would never be a Model A again, altho the body looks better than a lot of Model As running around. When he got his it was an old rusted out body. He fabbed the door skins and most of the lower sheet metal from the belt line down, taking measurements off of his pristine stock '30 Tudor.

He built the frame, had seats made, installed a "Hot Rodded 4 Banger. It looks like a '30 Tudor, but there is not much Ford left so I don't think he "screwed" anything up.

Yes, there are a fair amount of Model As being Hot Rodded. But guess what? It is their car.

Just my 2 cents worth.

My avatar roadster was built one piece at a time from flea market parts and a very poor body that was patched up. No Model A's were damaged to build it. I also have a stock 30 Tudor that will remain stock.

Doesn't matter what you do with your property. My only wish is that you finish what you start,so many get torn apart and forgotten. It a lot like a puppy, some get all giddy when they get them but don't give a thought to the long term commitment they are making.

I visited a Model A friend just last week who is attempting to put a V-12 Lincoln in a 31 Victoria. He was in the process of adding the extra 13 inches to the frame. Knowing my friend he will get it completed and add it to his collection of stock Model As. Hu
