1941 Ford Fuel Tank
Wanted to see if anyone knew of a source for reproduction fuel tanks for a 1941 1 1/2 Ton Ford Truck, this is the in cab, under seat one. I have a new father/son project and during the winter months I am hunting the hard to find parts, the elusive 5 lug budd is tops, but I believe this tank may become number two on the hard to find list.

Re: 1941 Ford Fuel Tank
So this tank is different from the smaller truck version?

Mine is at the radiator shop now, going to braze the pin holes then put a liner in it.

I have a very nice original but shipping from Canada would be pricey!

I am pretty sure nobody makes repop tanks for the big trucks. Haven't been able to find one in my 2 years of searching. Best bet is to repair or find a nice used one like Oldrelic's tank in Canada. |
