Happy new-year model T ers , ,I am thinking of making my own spokes ,is there a particular type of hickory to use eg hart ? .What about drying .thanks ted

"Second growth" hickory is a term I have heard.

Tanekaha might just fit this purpose.
Hmm i have some timber that is very similar to hickory that somebody should mill and use for spokes.
