If you wish to use a Ford T 170 FT Transmission behind your Ford Flathead V8 and keep your closed drive shaft and torque tube, then you will need this adaptor plate kit which bolts up to the rear of the transmission and retains the existing moulting position.The torque tube and drive shaft will need shortening a small amount depending on application. These adaptors are made in New Zealand and made from a very high grade alloy. Price $199.00 plus postage.
