Core charges for shock absorbers?
I would like to know the average core charge for rebuilt shocks. I have 4 really nice shocks, arms, links, and all bolts, that a guy I know wants to buy from me. I know what new shocks are worth, and I figure that these should be worth at least the core charges.

Re: Core charges for shock absorbers?
They should be at least worth the core charge as long as they are rebuildable. Do they move at all, or do they have a sloppy shaft?
I had one that was frozen, but after removing the rust it was very worn and too sloppy to rebuild. |

Re: Core charges for shock absorbers?
I'm going back a while, but as I recall it was $45 per core - another $20 per arm, and if the links are the original tube ones you should add $60 or so to this for the set of them. I would think this would be fair, but someone else might chime in.
