1952 Ford Front Accessory Bumper Guard Cross Bar
I bought this accessory bar a few months ago. Just got around to test fitting. The seller stated that accessory bumper guards were necessary to install the cross bar. It appears that the bumper guards just need a hole to accept the cross bar mounting stud. Or are they significantly different. I can probably make it work but more information is always appreciated.

The factory intended it to go with the tall uprights that center the bar in front of the grill. I also have one and thought about installing it on the existing bumper guards on my 53, but decided it looked bad positioned that low.
