I have a 53 PU with a FH V8, 9" rear end and 15" wheels. The speedometer reads approx 8 MPH slow at 40 MPH according to my GPS. I changed the speedo gear to a 19 tooth which is the least amount of teeth I could find. I believe if I could find a 17 tooth gear it would be pretty close. Does anyone make one or know of someone who could make one?

a speedo shop can make you up a little gear box that goes in the speedo cable.they can get you real close.
