I forgot to mention that it does have phenolic spacers between the carbs.

This happened last week, it was a 45 degree day and the eng sat for a couple hours after being driven so it wasn't that hot.

I'll change out the condenser and see what happens.

I have another roadster with an 8ba flatty and I never have trouble with it starting so I'm not sure that Ethanol is the problem.
