Default FINALLY, I have located correct fan
I have finally located the correct fan for the 1939 V8 60HP commercial engine I have been looking for for so long. I have sent the seller a check. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Now I have all the parts to finish it properly.

NOW, I am looking for a lid, just the removable lid, that is held on with a wing nut, for the dry type air cleaner for the 37-39 (maybe other years as well) air cleaner. Anybody have just a lid they will part with? This is not for the project engine by the way.

I took a couple of photos, but then I found a fan. I'll wait till I get the fan mounted on it and then it'll show the complete display. Should be a couple of weeks or so.

Lawson, is the hole in the bottom for the carb smaller then the 85 v8 ? If it is I may have a perfect one you can have for shipping cost. I bought it for my 41 because it was perfectly restored but it is for a slightly smaller carb air horn. Tim

The carb air horn size for the V8 60 and the V8 85 are the same 2 5/8".

The pictures looked good, but I am having second thoughts till I actually get it in my hot little crooked hands. (That's like bent and twisted, making them hard to use a lot of times.) Last comment added so no one will try and make a lawyer joke out of it. I bought it from a barner, or at least someone who was wise to my search and mentioned the barn in his emails or PMs I just had a thought run through my head today, what if this is a fan that someone has cobbled up to match the measurements like I have been trying to do. I can live with that if the job is correctly and nicely done, but if it ain't, I'm really going to be mad.
