Default Model B carburetor GAV seat removal

What is the best way to pull the GAV seat to clean under it on a Model B carburetor? I read where to use a 1/4-24 tap to pull it with.

Talk to Dave Renner at Renners Corner

https://rennerscorner.com/index.html

As I remember Dave has a procedure to remove B GAV and he has replacement power valve tubes also.

I believe he has replacements for the washer and spring at the bottom of GAV housing.

Do not try to turn the GAV housing to remove it ... damage will result.

Gordon Biggar and Rex Reheis wrote an excellent book on A and B carbs.

There are 17 pages or more in this book on B carbs.
