Default Wishbone Adapter

I am assembling a V8 transmission with 39 gears for use in my Model A.
I am using the truck transmission housing (78-7006) which is a 1/4" deeper where the wishbone adapter mounts versus a V8 car transmission. Does anyone know of a source for a different wishbone adapter bracket for this situation? I tried the one from Snyders but it does not clear any better than the bracket I already have. Either bracket would need to be shorter by .25" at least to fit.
I measured a Model A bell housing and where the wishbone cups mount and it is 7.00" from the centerline of the housing. Near as I can tell this same dimension is 7.42" from centerline for the truck V8 transmission with the bracket I am using.
Does anyone have dimensions I can reference so I can tell where this assembly is supposed to end up at?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not a problem. I just took the angle-iron piece and cut it off with a hacksaw. I measured .25" to remove vertically, but ended up with .150" which will work. I now have to have it welded (I don't have a welder). I have the piece clamped and aligned back into position ready for welding.
Also I am showing my scheme for holding the wishbone bolts and felt. Just a couple pieces of angle iron. I intend to add a cover around the felt to keep out the mud and road grime.
I realize these brackets add caster to the front axle, but that was designed into the kit before I got to it.
