Your friends to the north wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. We in Canada had our Thanksgiving a month ago so our turkeys were younger and more tender ( haha ). Wayne

Happy Thanksgiving.
If you don't like the hard dry crust on your pumpkin pie, I have a solution for that. When you take the pie out of the freezer you break off the crust and lay it on top of the pumpkin. BTW, this isn't the pie I left in the oven too long.

No pictures but for those that would like to enhance the bird, the stuffing and the gravy. Instead of a dry bird put one quart of Swansons chicken broth in the roaster instead of dry or water. The gravy will taste better and the turkey more moist. Criss cross Bacon strips over the breasr and down the legs. When making dressing sprinkle dry the croutons or dry bread with Chix broth and shredded apple and toss with the bread. If you want to go the extra mile toss walnuts into the dressing. Presto....gourmet turkey! ! Enjoy, Wayne
