Default Model A Museum

How many here on Fordbarn have been to the Model A Museum being built at The Gilmore Car Museum Complex in Hickory Corners, MI? In addition do you have plans on attending the grand opening, May 18th 2013?

Just trying to see how big of a crowd will be there on May 18th.

If you get 50 "yes" replies here...you can times that by 10...I bet there will be over 500 plus Model A/AA'ers at the event...I am hoping to be there but time will tell.

There should be close to 200 associated with the Michigan Model A Roundup. The main activity will be the Saturday tour from Kalamazoo out to the opening.

I was there last March when we had crazy weather and it was in the 80's the main building was the only one open and was worth 2X the price. I will make it there (and then on to the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village) but not during the grand opening.

I've been there a couple of times, going again tomorrow and Sunday for the January work days. I'm not sure if we will be back from a business trip in May for the open house.

There are about 10 of us from the Fort Worth area that are planning on driving up for the opening. 2500 miles round trip in a week.

Seems like someone could say this no matter where in the country it is located.

Probably wouldn't be able to do it without the OD. I have to be there & back in a week, with only 1 day of "rest" that leaves the other days for four 500 mile days, and two 300 mile days.

Been there several times including the groundbreaking and Model A Day this fall (of course closer for me than OR). Just delivered the restored marine conversion yesterday during MAFFI's work weekend. Here's a few pics from Saturday. Will be there for the grand opening.
