If you even "mention" an I.Q. TEST, in a crowd, the WHOLE group gits PARANOID & DEFENSIVE!!!! IT'S FUNNIE!!!
When I took the test, the most AMAZING thing was the Summary the Guy wrote.
He GLEANED things about me, that ONLY people close to me KNEW!!! The Guy wuz a GENIUS!!!! The real tests are VERY complicated & involved!!! All just to determine your General Intelligence Level & age is figured into the formula! A score of 100, is considered "NORMAL" or Average.

I sure don’t care how you spell. Hell, as long as you get your point across, no one else should either. This is a model A forum not a spelling bee. As long as you can spell yep and nope, you’re doing great.

I couldn’t care less about your I.Q. I think the test was wrong when it only scored you at 122. In fact, I know it was.

Bill, if there was a test that would take in to account all your experience, hardships, successes, accomplishments, and sense-of-humor, your score would be off the chart.

So there,

Mike

Spell check is not perfect. There are times when writing an article, that I have to insert the word into the dictionary of Spell Check as it does not have it, yet it is in technical info or is in my Webster's Dictionary. It was programmed to take an educated guess at the word. I agree with "wingski" the information contained is more important than spelling. If you have ever taken one of those tests where the words are intentionally misspelled, you can still understand the message.

If someone has selected "American English" for the language, spell check comes up with some funny spelling. You folk spell funny! That was SPELL, not SMELL!

Bill- Given the intent of your original post, I'd say it's 122 or above. Alex

IQ is a relative thing. When it comes to politics you can have two people with an IQ of 150 and their average IQ will drop to 100. When there are 4 with an IQ of 150 it will drop to 75. The US senate has 100 people that I assume have an IQ of over 100 but their collective IQ seems to be in single digits. Go figure.

With politics I think they all play dumb so we pity those poor dumb fools who cant figure it out. rather than skinning those sneaky snakes for robbing us blind.

My spelling might be poor but i find it amusing that my IQ test is one of the highest they'd ever seen.

If figure it's like the computer world, they keep fixing one with with a billion negative consequences as job security.

Gotta love how fordbarn is one of this forums where thread drift can show you new forms of duct tape & nobody throws a tantrum & deletes it, unlike some forums i go on.
