Default Barn fresh cars at Gilmore today

A large contingent of original cars and trucks today. Probably more, but here is what I saw.

It was a Great Day, over 400 model A's from around the county, several fresh from Mafca tours. A very nice place, everyone needs to visit it.

It's funny, I'm drawn to an original, unrestored Model A like a moth to a flame. Just something it has that a restored one doesn't.

I agree, much more interesting to see at a show.

Monday I was looking over a sedan that a friend has, the exterior was repainted about 20 years ago and looks really nice, but the interior upholstery is all original, worn and a few tears and moth holes but 95% intact, he had it all covered up with indian blankets and was making excuses for it's condition, but I though it was neat to see 80+ year old factory installed upholstery still in useable condition.

Why is it that most of the original unrestored cars seem to be 28-29.

This is just my guess. But it seems like the general public like the 30/31 models more because of the body lines, and some improvements to the bodies. So those are they ones that people will want to have restored over the years.
