Default My son and the A

I think he likes it... I just had to post the whole series I took. He was having a ball swinging his feet on the running board.

He will grow up and the car will just be part of his life. The Model A.
To other people it will be a MODEL A!

Nice Pics.

Once his legs are to long for swinging he will have a pair of slides (fenders) he can play on.

Good looking boy and good looking car. I love that unfinished look (on the car).

He tried about a month ago!

The cool thing is within 3 months of him turning 18, the car will turn 100. His birthday is June, and the car's build date is September.

Be sure to save him a copy of those pictures for when he is older. Model A's are better than a "jungle gym" for kids.

Memories that you will cherish forever. My 3 boys and 3 girls are now in their 50's. You made me go back to the days when they were that age. Thanks for posting the photos.

It would be tempting to keep that car as is--except for the wheels. It looks like a remarkably sound original.

It is very, very sound. I have only found one larger hole in the right rear quarter (smaller than a quarter) a dime sized hole behind the drivers fender, and a hole under where the top will be installed smaller than a dime.

We have no plans for a restore, but we will be putting an interior in it, top on it and a new radiator in it so it will be comfortable to drive. A lot of the mechanical parts seem to be in very good shape. I have been doing mostly maintenance and adjustments to get it back on the road.

It had 30/31 wheels on it with rotten tires until a week ago. My wife really likes the look of the 16's, and it is her car so she gets what she wants

I got a really good deal on the wheels and tires at a swap last weekend.

This is what it did look like.

and when we brought it home in 2009, it was just reassembled in Feb/March this year.
