Default Terminal block...what the heck!

So not to be funny and I know April 1st is around the corner but what is going on with these wiring diagrams. The MTFCA on page 30, Electrical System guide that I will go by has bright or high beam, black with red tracer on terminal #5.

They also have low or dim, black with green tracer on terminal #6. Great, I see that on a few other diagrams but the "with starter" 26-27 Lincoln press diagram and a few others out there show the opposite, low or dim on #5 and high or bright on #6?

The only common thing is black with red tracer on #5 and black with green tracer on #6. My original wires I could not read or trace out and determine what went were but wondering what you all are using as guides for the lights. Any input would be great.

Does not matter which terminals on the block you use as long as the wires from the switch matches up to the color coded leads for the head lights. As it is, the thimbles at the head lights are even pins so they can go in ether way. So as long as the leads from the head lights are both grouped red/red green/green you can turn the thimbles to get the correct filliment in the bulb and use ether of the leads from the switch just turn the thimble to get high beam at the head light when the switch is set to high and low when it is set to low.

Yes it will. If the correct bulbs are used, with the filaments horizontal to the lamp, there is one filament in the center and one off set. The centered one is bright and the offset, low. Just because both filaments are 32-32 does not mean both hit the same spot when on.
